Retrospective January 2022 & 2021 Recap Last year, Fantasy Congress ended things on a high note, doubling it's revenue from the year before. But my doubts about it being a viable lifestyle business are growing.
Random Experimenting with Programmatic SEO As somewhat of a novice digital marketer, I can't tell you how excited I am by the idea of programmatic SEO. The idea of automating the most painful part of content creation, i.e. writing the content, would make SEO marketing 10x easier to scale than it is currently.
Retrospective May & June 2021 My priorities regarding Fantasy Congress are changing. I'm thinking about discontinuing my retrospectives and trying a more "traditional" approach to blogging.
Retrospective April 2021 Growth for Fantasy Congress stalled in April and MRR dropped by roughly $50 from the previous month. It's not terribly surprising considering I didn't follow through on any of my plans for promotion. But with the school year coming to a close, I'm worried about my ability to bounce back.
Retrospective March 2021 March ended up being a bit of a bummer. I tentatively returned to promoting Fantasy Congress with limited results. And once again, it's not entirely clear if anything I did contributed to this month's meager growth.
Retrospective February 2021 I was hoping Fantasy Congress was in a place where it could grow by word of mouth alone. But this month made it clear that isn't the case.
Retrospective January 2021 Just when I thought this year couldn't compare to 2020, January showed up and said "hold my beer." Yet, with all the insanity, Fantasy Congress had it's best month ever. In one month, I've already made a third of my total revenue from 2020.
Retrospective December 2020: Glass Half Full After taking some time off, I returned to Fantasy Congress in December. I also took time to reflect on a really weird, yet pretty good year for myself.
