Wanted to do a quick little check in for November, even though I was taking a break from Fantasy Congress.
Not a lot of exciting things happened this month. I pursued several potential freelance contracts but only one of them went through. Luckily, November was finally the month I decided to pay myself. Fantasy Congress gave me a nice $600 bump that will help me stretch my finances a little longer. Revenue was up 22% from October, and churn was the lowest it's been since I launched. Would love to know what's causing the decrease in churn whether it's the holidays, my October launch of news mentions, or higher quality leads. Not sure how to figure out this info, but I hope the trend continues!
Paying myself for the first time was the most amazing feeling, and slightly addicting. As a result, I decided to hold on actively pursuing freelance projects for the first part of December and work on generating more profit with Fantasy Congress and GetADevJob.io. I may be kicking myself later for this, but I figure the new year will be much better for finding contract work than the holidays.
